| This album is a compilation of pictures taken at the 2006 Summer Gala of the West Lancashire Light Railway, held during the weekend of 12 & 13th August.
On the Saturday I was accompanied by my wife Margaret, who used her own HP 850 digital camera to take those pictures credited to her. The others were taken by myself using my 4 years old Fuji Finepix S602 digital camera, mostly set to 400ASA because of the dull and sometimes rainy weather. On the Sunday I was accompanied by my good friend and 16mm Assoc member Dr Roger Fletcher who used his own Fuji digital camera, but in its alternative movie mode. I have deliberately arranged the album in subject order rather than the order in which they were taken, to present a continuous sequence of events for each loco seen. In some instances, these were in fact taken sequentially because Margaret or I were in the right place at the right time! If you open the first slide (a title), then scroll down to the bottom of your screen, you will find options to either view each slide individually at full screen size or run all the way through them as a slide show. This last option will take from 10 to 12 minutes from start to finish. |
